HYDJET++ simulations and reconstruction of the anisotropic flow in Pb+Pb collisions at the LHC

چکیده
The azimuthal anisotropy of charged particles in heavy ion collisions is an important probe of quark-gluon plasma evolution at early stages. In the present paper the elliptic flow pattern in Pb+Pb collisions at √ s = 5.5 TeV is analyzed for different hadron species in the frameworks of HYDJET++ Monte-Carlo model. The influence of resonance decays on particle flow is investigated. The different methods of elliptic flow reconstruction are compared under LHC conditions.

Features of triangular flow of strange and non- strange hadrons at LHC
Triangular flow of strange and non-strange hadrons in Pb+Pb collisions at LHC energies is studied within the HYDJET++ model, which combines hard processes in a hot and dense partonic medium with parametrized hydrodynamics. Together with an extensive table of resonances, this circumstance enables us to investigate (i) the interplay between hard and soft processes and (ii) between jets and final-...
متن کاملParton rearrangement and fast thermalization in heavy-ion collisions at RHIC and LHC energies
The implications of parton rearrangement processes on the dynamics of ultra-relativistic heavy-ion collisions have been investigated. A microscopic transport approach, namely the quark gluon string model (QGSM) which has been extended for a locally density-dependent partonic rearrangement and fusion procedure served as the tool for this investigations. The model emulates effectively the dynamic...
متن کاملHYDJET++ heavy ion event generator and its applications for RHIC and LHC
The heavy ion event generator HYDJET++ is presented. HYDJET++ simulates relativistic heavy ion AA collisions as a superposition of the soft, hydro-type state and the hard state resulting from multi-parton fragmentation. This model is the development and continuation of HYDJET event generator. The hard parts of HYDJET and HYDJET++ are identical. The soft part of HYDJET++ contains the following i...

متن کاملSimulation of Measuring Bottom Quark Flow in Heavy Ion Collisions Using the CMS Detector
In this thesis, I carried out a simulation study to characterize the measurement of bottom quark flow in relativistic Pb+Pb collisions using the Compact Muon Solenoid experiment. The Hydjet event generator is used to produce sample collision events at four centrality values between 0 and 12 fm. These events are processed using the simulation, digitization, and reconstruction modules of the CMSS...
